2-Month Doctor Visit (New Stats too!)
Today, I had my 2-month checkup with Dr. Cheek. First off, I got weighed and measured again and I am now 20 and 3/4 inches and I weighed in at 9 pounds 13 ounces! So I've pretty much gained 5 pounds since I was born! Thats double my weight baby!! Dr. Cheek was very proud of me! She then did a quick physical exam, which I passed with flying colors! But then came the bad part... :( I had to get shots. Boo! The nurses came in and, with Mommy and Daddy there holding my hand, stuck me five times both thighs and gave my one vaccination by mouth. That was not fun. I cried alot. Really loud too. I even had my first tears. Mommy and Daddy were sad too. But Mommy was quick to comfort me with a little feeding which really helped calm me down. Overall I think I did really well! But all I got were these stinking Band-Aids. Check 'em out! (Daddy thinks they're cute)
I guess it made it quicker, but it was definitely not cool making both of my legs hurt! What the heck is up with that?!?!

I'm glad every thing was good at the doctor. Your a PERFECT little girl and any one can see that! Tell mom and dad they are very lucky parents.

Wow! You really are growing! I went to the doctor's this week too, but for my 1-year check-up. I know the shots are not fun and I wish I could say they get any fewer or better over the next few months. Just remember, they are a great way to get some extra cuddles out of Mom and Dad. Not that you look like you are lacking for cuddles. I see you Grandma and Grandpa Serley visited you. I bet they just think you are the greatest! Don't you love grandparents?!

Reese, I'm almost 20 years old and I STILL dont like getting shots. I am glad to see how big you are getting, hope you and mom and dad are doing well!
Whoa nellie...a better statement would have been I'm almost 30 years old. Wishful thinking I guess...when you are old like me time really flies!
We were wondering what the 20 years old was about?! HAHA
